Furniture
Besom gets requests daily from key workers to assist clients in setting up home.
We are delighted to accept furniture, household items and electrical appliances such as cookers, washing machines and fridge freezers.
Items must be clean and in good condition and beds and sofas require fire tags.
If you would like to donate good quality items, then please contact us via email in the first instance, with descriptions of what you are offering and photos if possible.
Kitchen Starter Packs
We put together packs of common and essential kitchen items, such as cutlery, crockery, saucepans and cleaning products.
These kits go to people in need who will be moving into new accommodation.
Bedding Packs
Our bedding packs comprise duvets, sheets, towels, pillows and pillow cases.
We will be delighted to accept these items in good, clean condition. No used pillows please.
Baby Bundles
If you have baby items to give, please contact our sister organisation, Besom in Sawston, as they have a team who lovingly assemble baby bundles.
Giving Money
Financial donations are used to pay for specific items for our recipients and to cover our warehouse overheads. We make prayerful and careful consideration about how to use the funds.
